Classical music audiences are intellectually curious. Whether hearing a piece for the first time or the fiftieth, they always seek to learn something new from their experience. Pre-concert talks create the ideal environment for engaging listeners with the music they're about to hear, providing an intimate, interactive experience. A well-crafted presentation can help make music accessible to the newest listener and reveal new facets to seasoned veterans.
In her pre-concert talks, Linda guides the audience through historical context as well as analytical insight, taking apart important themes and motives of the repertoire and giving the audience something to listen for during the pieces. She helps the audience understand the program as a cohesive whole, preparing them for an unforgettable performance.
Linda lives in Southern California and is available to travel to venues across the United States and Canada. To discuss booking and accommodations for her to speak during your upcoming season, please email or call.
